I am a student at Cupertino High School and a member of the AVID program, which has played a huge role in helping me get organized. I’ve always dealt with some focus issues, but AVID gave me the time management systems I really needed to handle a full schedule without feeling overwhelmed. Because of those habits, I went from getting a mix of grades to being much more consistent. Staying organized has also given me the headspace to pursue other interests, like taking Spanish classes, joining the Photography Club, and studying sustainability in AP Environmental Science. Outside of school, I’m a big fan of mechanical keyboards and cycling. I spend a lot of my time tinkering with and maintaining my Canyon. Now, as I head toward college for Industrial Design, I feel much more confident in my ability to turn my ideas into finished projects.
